Terms of service

Last updated 30 September 2026

1.Who these are between

These terms are between company name to be completed on registration, registered in United Kingdom or Sweden — to be completed (“Zeryon”, “we”), and the business that opens an account (“you”). They apply from the moment you create an account.

They are governed by the law of England and Wales, or Sweden — to be completed, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are agreeing to these terms for a company, you are confirming you are allowed to bind it.

2.What the service is

Zeryon builds and runs voice agents that make and answer telephone calls for you.

You design an agent, and the service places or answers calls on your behalf, records them, transcribes them, and gives you the outcome. We supply the models and voices your agents use, and the phone service your agents call through. What the agent says depends on how you have configured it, and that part is yours.

The service is provided as it stands. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of defects. We have no service level agreement today; if you need one, ask, and it will be a separate agreement rather than a sentence added here.

3.Your account

  • Keep it secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials and API keys safe. Tell us promptly if you think either has been compromised.
  • One organisation, many people. You may add users to your organisation. Everything they do is your responsibility.
  • Keys for services you connect yourself. If you connect your own tools, you give us their keys. We use them only to run your agents. What those tools charge you is between you and them.
  • Support access. Our operators may open your account to support it. Every occasion is recorded and the record is kept, and you can ask to see it.

4.Credits and payment

Use of the service is metered and drawn against a credit balance. Each movement is recorded in a ledger you can see. Where a balance is granted rather than purchased that is recorded too.

Card payment is configured but not yet switched on, and no payment has been taken through this service. When it is switched on, payments will be handled by a card payment processor and card details will not reach us. Prices, refund terms and any minimum commitment are to be completed before charging begins.

The models and voices your agents use, and the phone service we provide, are drawn against your credit balance.

5.Calling people: the rules you must follow

This is the most important clause in this document. You decide who is called; that decision, and its consequences, are yours.

You confirm that for every number you call through Zeryon you have a lawful basis to call it, and that you comply with the law of the country you are calling into. In the United Kingdom and across the EEA that includes, at least, all of the following.

  • Marketing consent and screening. Live and automated marketing calls are restricted. In the UK you must screen against the Telephone Preference Service and the Corporate TPS, and automated marketing calls require the specific prior consent of the person called — consent to a live call is not enough. Equivalent rules apply in Sweden and elsewhere in the EEA.
  • Identify yourself. Automated calls must identify the organisation on whose behalf they are made and give a contact address or freephone number.
  • Say it is a machine. Do not let a person believe they are speaking to a human when they are not. Where a caller asks, the agent must say. This is both a legal requirement in several places and, under the EU AI Act’s transparency obligations, an obligation on you as the deployer of the system.
  • Recording. Every call through this service is recorded. You must tell the person, at the start, that it is being recorded and why.
  • Silent and abandoned calls. Do not configure campaigns that generate silent or abandoned calls. The rules on abandonment rates and on repeat calls to the same number are strict and enforcement is real.
  • Stopping. Honour a request to stop calling, immediately and permanently, and do not call a number back into a campaign after one.
  • Emergencies. Zeryon is not a telephone service for emergencies and must never be presented as one, nor used to call emergency numbers.

We do not check any of this for you, and we cannot. We do not know whether a number on your list consented, and we do not see your relationship with the person. If a regulator takes action over a call you made, that is yours to answer, and you agree to indemnify us for claims arising from calls you instructed.

6.What you must not use it for

  • Impersonating a real person, or cloning a voice you have no right to use.
  • Fraud, deception, phishing, or extracting payment details or credentials from the people called.
  • Harassment: repeated calls to somebody who has asked you to stop, or calls designed to intimidate.
  • Anything unlawful in the country you are calling into, or that breaches another person’s rights.
  • Attempting to reach other clients’ data, or to circumvent the limits on your account.
  • Reselling access without our agreement, or presenting the service as your own to your own customers, unless we have agreed that in writing.

We may suspend an account immediately where we believe this clause is being breached, and we will tell you why.

7.Your content, and ours

Your agents, prompts, uploaded documents, contact lists, recordings and transcripts are yours. We claim no ownership of them and use them only to provide the service to you and as described in the privacy policy. We do not train models on them.

The service itself, and everything in it that is not yours, remains ours. You get the right to use it while your account is open, and no more.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload — contact lists in particular.

8.Availability, and what happens when it breaks

We monitor this deployment continuously and back it up daily. We do not guarantee a level of availability, and there is no credit or refund for downtime today.

Some limits are worth stating rather than discovering. The service runs on a single machine; a hardware failure would interrupt it. Backups are taken daily, so a total loss could cost up to a day of data. We restore a backup and verify it against the original record counts rather than assuming it works, and we will say plainly if a restore is ever needed.

9.Data protection: our terms as your processor

For personal data about the people your agents call, you are the controller and we are your processor. This section is our written agreement about that, and it is meant to be read alongside the privacy policy.

TermWhat it is here
Subject matterRunning voice agents that call people on your behalf
DurationFor as long as your account is open, plus the retention periods below
Nature and purposePlacing and answering calls, recording and transcribing them, summarising them, and reporting outcomes to you
Types of personal dataTelephone numbers, names, whatever else your contact list carries, call audio, transcripts, and what the agent established during the call
Categories of data subjectThe people your agents call, and those who call your agents
  • We act on your instructions. We process this data only to provide the service and only as you instruct. Using the product is how you instruct us. If we think an instruction breaks data protection law we will tell you.
  • Confidentiality. Everyone with access is bound to keep it confidential.
  • Security. We apply the measures described in the privacy policy, including the two shortfalls it names rather than conceals.
  • Sub-processors. The current list is published in the privacy policy. You agree to those. We will publish changes there, and you may object.
  • Helping you answer people. If someone asks you for their data or asks you to delete it, we can find and produce or delete everything held about a telephone number in your account, and confirm afterwards that nothing is left. Ask us and we will do it.
  • Breaches. We will tell you without undue delay if personal data we hold for you is breached, with what we know at the time rather than waiting for a complete picture.
  • Deletion. Call data is deleted thirty days after it is created, automatically, as described in the privacy policy. When your account closes we delete the rest. Copies persist in backups until those age out, for up to thirty days.
  • Audit. We will answer reasonable questions about how this works and provide what we have. We are a small operation and cannot host on-site audits today; if you need one, that is a separate conversation before you sign up rather than after.
  • International transfer. The service runs in the United States. The privacy policy explains what that means and what is not yet settled about it. Do not sign up assuming otherwise.

10.Ending it

You can close your account at any time. We will delete your data as described above; unused credit is refundable or not — to be completed with pricing.

We may end this agreement if you breach it materially and do not put it right within thirty days of being told, or immediately in the case of section 6. We may also withdraw the service for everyone with notice period to be completed’ notice, in which case we will help you get your data out.

11.Liability

Neither of us excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Beyond that, our total liability to you is limited to amount to be completed, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or lost data beyond what the backup regime above provides.

12.Changes to these terms

When these terms change the date at the top changes with them, and we will tell account holders directly about any change that materially affects them. If you do not accept a change, close your account.
